So I am really in the mood for blogging today, normally I would spend my Sunday just playing games on my laptop but then I suddenly had the urge to blog and got a blog post idea (which rarely happens!) So today I thought that I would give you some tips to spice up your room, now these are not necessarily summer themed, actually I've had most of them since winter.

The first one is hanging some 'tumblr pictures' around your room. I went to Florida last year and when I visited Disney World I bought some post cards but I never intended to send them I knew that they would look amazing in my room so I found these clear pegs and placed them on my fairy lights.

Which leads me onto my next tip, fairy lights. They look so 'tumblr' in your room and when I go to bed I turn off all the lights apart from my fairy lights and they are so nice. I find them quite relaxing aswell, I don't know why. I bought these from 'The Range' I think. The Range is really good for fairy lights I think my ones are about 5 meters long so I managed to put them all around my bed. I' currently looking for some lantern ones like the picture below so if you see any please let me know!

My next idea is pillows! Not ones that you sleep on, well maybe you do sleep on these pillows. Anyway they really add to your bed. I don't think that I could ever have just the pillows I sleep on anymore! I get my pillows from anywhere, I think the two small pillows and the 'Hello' ones are from Asda Living. I go for quite neutral colours like grey, white and black and then you can add a brighter colour to stand out. Then you can swap the colourful pillows for different ones for a slight change!

This also links to my next point however it's not so easy. If you are getting your room re-done soon and you are struggling to choose what colour to make it, I would advise you to go for a neutral colour because you can add little bits of colour to your room but when you get bored of them swap it to a different colour, it is a lot easier and cheaper to do it this way than painting your walls a bright colour, then getting bored of it and having to re-paint your walls all over again. You can swap it as often as you like as well.

My final idea is adding decor to empty places for example, my bedside table only had a light and my mirror so I put my book on the side and it encourages me to read more too. I also bought these pots from IKEA and placed my brushes in one and lip products in the other. My friends sister gave me lots of stuff the other day and in the box were these Marc Jacobs minis so I put them there. Photos are another great idea, not only do they use space but they remind you of the good times you have had.

So I was tagged by the wonderful Emma ( Uncover My Thoughts ) to do the British tag. Now I am British (if you didn't know) and I haven't posted in a while so I thought that I would do this today.

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars? I love tea. If I could drink it at school, I would but I take water because I'm lazy! On the weekdays I might not have any but on the weekends I have around 4-5 cups a day. I don't have any sugars, it makes it sweet and I like it strong.

2. Favourite part of your roast? Potatoes. My family do the best roasties, I mean, I love all of it but the roasties are the best.

3. Favourite dunking biscuit? Rich tea or Digestives. I don't really have biscuits with drinks but if I can be bothered to get one then I would get one of them.

4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime? I don't even have a clue what that means! I'm only 13 not 50!

5. Favourite word? I don't know. I like Bangers and Mash but that's three words.

6. Favourite sweet? I don't really like sweets, I much prefer chocolate so my favourite chocolate is either Yorkie or Cadbury's Dairy Milk

7. What would your pub be called? The Brighton, it's my surname so it just fits. I kind of like it but I'm probably never going to own a pub!

8. No.1 British person? Zoe Sugg. She's British so that counts right? I just love Zoe she's amazing.

9. Favourite shop / Restaurant? Favourite shop is Lush or Boots. I love lush's bathbombs and shower jels. I'm also getting into makeup so I go to boots quite a lot.

10. What British song pops into your head? What Makes You Beautiful - One Direction. I really don't like one direction but the song just popped into my head so I couldn't lie.

11. Marmite? Urghh. I have a love/hate relationship with Marmite. One minute I love it and the next I hate it but at the moment I hate it!

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows? Palettes of eyeshadow because I could live without my eyeshadow palettes but not the others!
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again? i would chop it off because it can grow back but if you never cut it then it will get to long and annoying.
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek? Coral, I love coral!
4.) If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup? Clothes I find it hard to find clothes and I grow out of them easily and if I had £1000 worth of makeup then I would have too much and I wouldn't wear most things!
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick? Lipstick as eyeliner I think it wouldn't feel as weired as eyeliner on your lips, especially liquid eyeliner.
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora? MAC for some reason I do not shop at Sephora or MAC but I would prefer MAC.
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life? Eyeshadow because if you wear a natural colour no one will notice that you wear the same one as you probably will not be able to see it but with lips you would easily tell.
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter? Winter! I think the winter clothes are cute.
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round? Dark, I don't know why but I think pastel colours look weired in Winter but I don't find darker colours are not as weired in Summer.
10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product? Lip product as I don't really wear lipstick.
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?Messy Bun, I think that they are really cute and I always wear it in a ponytail.
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss? Lipgloss, they didn't say product and there is such thing as lipstick ;)
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday? I don't know probably lighty sharpie them in.
14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish? Nail Polish even though I love painting my nails :(
